B.A. in Biblical & Theological Studies
The online Bachelor of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies degree provides students with an appreciation of the history, context and message of the Bible as well as historical and theological developments within the history of Christianity. Students in this online major choose a biblical studies or a theological and historical emphasis. This major provides excellent preparation for students who plan to pursue seminary or graduate studies in Bible, theology, Church history and related fields. A Biblical and Theological Studies major is for students who are passionate about understanding the Bible, theology, and what it means to be a Christian today. It’s for students who want to teach God’s word, serve in churches, or infuse their Christian faith into their work in businesses or nonprofits. Theology offers the opportunity to focus on the Christian faith in detail, through the study of the Bible, the history of Christianity, its key thinkers and its influence on ethical debates and the actions of its believers.
